This is often done when making techniques drawing. When importing images, dimensions not in accordance with the original image, or change the image scale. So….. double check this.

If not in accordance with the original, use the Tape Measure tool to make it fit. Change dimensional in one part of the drawing will directly change the scale or dimensions of buildings.

I have aspirations to become a housing developer or marketer after learning the both ability of this software, Google SketchUp and Google Earth.

With Google SketchUp you can draw a house that was developed in 3D model. Google Earth could help in terms of promotion so the buyer will look at home position in accordance with reality.

Look at the steps below to make it.

The first to be prepared are a three-dimensional drawing model of house built using Google SketchUp. Make good design so that attract buyers. Remember to turn on Georeferencing in Google SketchUp 3D models, and set the desired geographic location (in this case area of housing development). Read More »

http://www.latimes.com/media/photo/2012-03/107213160-21071937.jpgMega Millions’ upcoming jackpot is one of the biggest ever — $290 million — and it’s just going to get bigger in advance of Friday’s drawing.

No single ticket hit all the numbers in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing, which is driving up the jackpot. Right now, the jackpot is at $290 million. If it were to stay there, it would go down in history as the eighth-largest haul since the game of chance began in 1996.

But you can expect the Mega Millions jackpot to rise over the next three days as the country flocks to bodegas, 7-11s, gas stations and supermarkets with dollar bills in hand, dreaming of hitting it big.

The only film ever banned in the UK on the grounds of blasphemy has finally been given a certificate, more than 20 years after it was made. Short film Visions Of Ecstasy – which features Jesus being seduced on the cross – was originally refused a rating because it was thought to fall foul of blasphemy laws. But now the British Board of Film Classification has finally given the 19-minute art house movie an 18 certificate. Read More »

Car ownership in China is expanding exponentially and authorities are concerned that burgeoning car and truck traffic will paralyze the country’s highways and biways… that is, paralyze them more often.

The situation is dire indeed, and while China’s government and industry (often one and the same) are reluctant to discourage car ownership, they’ve made great strides in providing attractive alternatives such as public buses and the infrastructure to support them.

‘The Bachelor’ premiere: Jenna the Overanalyst vs. Monica – it is ON

January 3rd, 2012 by | Posted in Fashion | No Comments »

http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/bachelor-premiere-preview.jpg

It’s here, y’all. “The Bachelor” is back on our television screens. Who’s excited?! (Also: No spoilers in the comments please). Things kick off with a montage of Ben doing outdoorsy things on his winery, then Chris Harrison (how I’ve missed you) gives us an intro and away we go.

Highlights of the girls’ introduction montage include:

  • Lindzi claims she was once broken up with via text that read, “Babe, welcome to Dumpsville … population YOU.” I don’t believe that actually happened, just for the record.
  • Amber T. is from Nebraska and can shoot skeet and go bow hunting, which is pretty awesome. I’m not a hunter, per se, but I like it that she can do that. She also is familiar with Rocky Mountain oysters, which makes me hope with all my heart that Ben has to go to her hometown.
  • Brunette Kacie is one of the prettiest girls, to me.
  • Courtney is a model who actually doesn’t do it for me. She looks kinda mean and evil, like a Disney villain.
  • Jamie has an amazing backstory, how she took legal guardianship of her siblings when she was young. I can’t even imagine what that must have been like.
  • Lyndsie the Diplomat’s Daughter annoys me on sight and also reminds me more than a little of weird Melissa from Brad’s season. Anyone else?
  • Jenna fancies herself a real-life Carrie Bradshaw, complete with close-up on her computer screen as she blogs about love. *eye roll*
  • Shawn is a mom. Nothing snarky, she’s just the only parent, as far as I know. And that brings with it something extra from the other women.

Rose Parade 2012: Sunny skies, smaller crowds and an Occupy march

A Marine marching band from Camp Pendleton and grand marshal J.R. Martinez drew among the biggest cheers from thousands of parade-goers who lined Colorado Boulevard for the 123rd Rose Parade, which began on a chilly Monday morning and ended in warm sunshine.

Crowds lined the 5 1/2-mile route, although organizers said they believed attendees were fewer in number than in previous years because of the weekday timing. Traditionally, the parade is not held Sundays to avoid interfering with church services.

This year’s theme, “Just Imagine,” featured dozens of petal-covered floats, exuberant marching bands and more than 300 colorfully decked-out horses and riders.

Rose Bowl History In The BCS Era: Best Game, Worst Game And More

January 3rd, 2012 by | Posted in Educations | No Comments »

http://www.rosebowlplc.com/assets/Image/venue/development/1-1.jpgThe Granddaddy of ‘em All has been at best a reluctant participant in the BCS. For nearly a decade, the Rose Bowl, along with the Big Ten and Pac-10 conferences, shunned efforts by the Bowl Coalition and Bowl Alliance to match the top two ranked teams. It wasn’t until 1998 that the BCS was finally formed.

That relationship has been short of a boon for the Rose Bowl. In the BCS era, the Rose Bowl has lost some of its luster because its annual matchup between the Big Ten and Pac-10 were frequently disrupted. From the 1946 season to 2001, every Rose Bowl game featured a Big Ten and a Pac-8/10 team. That hasn’t been the case for half of the past 10 games.

That’s why the recent announcement that the Big Ten and Pac-12 are building a more “collaborative” relationship must be viewed with some suspicion by the other parties in the BCS. This may be the prelude to the two conferences, as well as the Rose Bowl, making a move to sever their ties to the BCS. The possibility exists that the Rose Bowl will return to its old and exclusive Big Ten/Pac-12 matchup in the very near future, perhaps as soon as the the current BCS pact expires.
